I am very lucky to be able to photograph the same families every year and create bonds with each child I take pictures of. After having a daughter of my own I quickly realized how much little girls love to play dress up and pretend to be princesses. They just light up when you ask them who their favorite is, Elsa, Anna, Ariel, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and quickly go into song and dance.
This gave me the best idea to create a Fairytale Princess session JUST for my little girl clients, and any of my boy Prince clients as well. Kids don’t really get a choice about taking family photos so it was really special to me to have them feel important and special. I found the cutest dresses from Trish Scully online and wow did they fit perfectly for some many different sized children.
My first clients are big time Princess lovers, they were able to even loan me 10 options for Disney Princess costumes that we could use infant of the Disney castle backdrop. I just loved letting the girls decide who they wanted to be and they really had so much fun dancing around and creating magic.
